About the Conference

Address: 106-16 70th Ave, Forest Hills, NY 11375
Join us for the 11th International Conference on The Development of Bukharian Jewish Social and Cultural Life in the Modern Era, hosted by the Bukharian Jewish Academic Center ROSHNOI, the World Congress of Bukharian Jews, and SAMi: Sephardic American Mizrahi Initiative.
This two day gathering brings together voices from across the United States, Israel, Europe, and Central Asia for a meaningful and engaging experience centered on Bukharian Jewish life today.
Through thoughtful talks, conversations, and shared perspectives, the conference explores the richness of Bukharian Jewish history, culture, and identity, not only as something to study, but as something actively lived and carried forward.
Whether you are coming to learn, connect, or simply be part of something meaningful, this is an opportunity to step into a space where ideas, community, and heritage come together.
We look forward to welcoming you!
